My Favorite Bagel

Bagels are the best. So, when you top them off with cream cheese, smoked salmon, cucumber, and red onion, you bring the bagel to a whole new level.
Obviously, this recipe is super customizable. You could add tomatoes, avocado, a poached egg, scrambled egg, white fish, different meats, goat cheese, and more. Literally, anything. This is my favorite way to enjoy a bagel, however, which is why I'm sharing the recipe!

Equipment

  • toaster

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bagel any type
  • 2-3 tbsp cream cheese
  • 3-4 slices smoked salmon
  • 1 cucumber thinly sliced
  • 1/4 red onion thinly sliced
  • everything but the bagel seasoning optional

Instructions
 

  • Toast the bagel until it is golden and warmed through. Spread cream cheese onto both halves of the bagel and layer on smoked salmon, cucumber, and red onion. Sprinkle with everything but the bagel seasoning and enjoy!
