Method
- Steam or boil the green beans. If steaming, boil water in a pot that has a steamer on top. Place the green beans in the steamer, and steam for 5 minutes with the lid on.
- If boiling, boil in a pot of water (with a big pinch of salt thrown in) for 3 minutes, then drain.
- Heat a cast iron skillet to high heat.
- Add the olive oil. Thinly slice the garlic then fry it until golden brown.
- Add the green beans and saute. Add pepper and salt to taste. Saute for about 5 minutes total. Enjoy!
