These garlic green beans are absolutely delicious and simple to make, and they make the perfect vegetable side to any classic home meal. They're achievable by any home cook, and are incredibly garlicky, salty, and yummy. Truly reccomend!
Steam or boil the green beans. If steaming, boil water in a pot that has a steamer on top. Place the green beans in the steamer, and steam for 5 minutes with the lid on.
If boiling, boil in a pot of water (with a big pinch of salt thrown in) for 3 minutes, then drain.
Heat a cast iron skillet to high heat.
Add the olive oil. Thinly slice the garlic then fry it until golden brown.
Add the green beans and saute. Add pepper and salt to taste. Saute for about 5 minutes total. Enjoy!
