Tomato Burrata Appetizer
With this recipe, you don’t have to pay $40 for a burrata appetizer — you can make one at home for so much cheaper! Just a few simple and delicious ingredients will level up your dinner party.
Basically, there are 7 ingredients: fresh burrata, tomatoes, basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. It literally comes together in five minutes, just slice the tomatoes, chop up the basil, season, and plop a burrata on top! The most important thing here is to keep the ingredients super fresh, try to get the best quality you can.

Ingredients
- 3 heirloom tomatoes, sliced (or any fresh, seasonal tomatoes)
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper
- 1 burrata
Instructions
- Arrange the sliced tomatoes on a plate however you want! Top with chopped fresh basil. Place the fresh burrata on top, then drizzle the olive oil and balsamic vinegar and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Enjoy with toasted garlic bread or just on its own!
